Booking & Cancellation Policy

Booking Policy

To secure your event date, a signed rental agreement and a non-refundable retainer of 50% are required at the time of booking. Dates are not held without payment.

The remaining balance is due no later than 7 days prior to your event date.

For bookings made within 7 days of the event, full payment is required at the time of booking.

Cancellation Policy

All retainers are non-refundable.

If you need to cancel your event:

  • 14+ days prior to the event:
    Payments made (excluding the retainer) may be transferred to a future date within 6 months, based on availability.

  • Within 14 days of the event:
    All payments are non-refundable and non-transferable.

In the rare event that 409 Posh Parties must cancel due to unforeseen circumstances, a full refund will be issued.

Rescheduling Policy

We understand that plans can change.

  • One reschedule is allowed if requested at least 7 days prior to your event, subject to availability.

  • Additional reschedules may require a new retainer.

Return & Pickup Policy

All rentals include delivery, setup, and pickup. We do not allow customer pickup or self-return of inventory.

All items remain the responsibility of the client from the time of delivery until pickup. Clients are responsible for ensuring:

  • Items are not moved, altered, or tampered with

  • Rentals are protected from damage, weather, and misuse

Any damage, missing items, or excessive cleaning required may result in additional charges.

Weather Policy (Outdoor Events)

Clients are responsible for providing a safe and suitable setup environment.

We do not set up in unsafe conditions, including:

  • Heavy rain

  • Strong winds

  • Extreme heat or cold

  • Muddy or unstable ground

For all outdoor events, a backup indoor or covered location is required.

If weather conditions prevent setup and no backup is available:

  • Payments are non-refundable

  • We will do our best to reschedule based on availability

Once items have been installed, no refunds will be issued due to weather changes.
